A suicide. A near fatal stabbing. An attempted suicide. A registered sex offender living in the neighborhood. These are just some of the things that residents in Milltown have had to deal with lately and one local resident said he has had enough.
Sharon Lowery, disaster action team captain for the local Red Cross, is now home after spending 21 days in the Indianapolis, Ind., and Columbus, Ohio, areas with hundreds of Red Cross volunteers providing flood relief.
Trustee Lynn Vestel stated Wednesday that the Nichols Village Board of Trustees will not vote to hire Larry Lanterman as village code enforcement officer despite Mayor Doug Horton’s recently announced intentions to replace current code officer Chris Williams.
